Starting Again?

Well hello there people of the internet! Think about if people of the internet are their own species...that would be interesting...what would that be called? Homo Internetio...whats internet in latin? Hang on...need to google. Cue jeopardy music. Oh wait. The internet wasn't around when Latin was, was it? Um well now I'm rather confused. Answers.com says that net in latin is rete or retium but that sounds too much like part of the eye ball to me. Then they also said they have seen interete and interetium. You pick what you think it would be and tell me!

Wow. That was a weird tangent that I didn't mean to go off on. Welcome back to this blog that has terrible grammar, makes no sense, and has random tangents. I hope you enjoy.

Anyway...I was going to blog a lot more than I did during college. I had all these plans and ideas and then I got distracted by college life and don't remember anything I was going to say. So ignore anything I said I was going to talk to you about...unless you really want me to talk about it, in which case you should yell at me in the comments to talk about it. So yeah. Sorry for my inconsistency. I'm not going to make any promises that I will post more regularly but apparently I'm incredibly bad at those promises so I'm not going to do that. I will however post when I'm bored. Like right now...

So the point of this post is 1) to say I'm back and sorry for being so irregular but it probably won't change and 2) to ask how you would feel if I attempted to right random short stories here. I used to right random short stories in high school on my friends/families phone. It was really fun and since it was on a phone it could be short and didn't need to make any sense. I used to be writing a book until I stopped because I realized how terrible I am at writing (apparently that didn't stop me from making a blog though). But! I could still write some short stories and practice writing because even though I'm terrible at it I find it rather enjoyable. If I can find some of my short stories I can share them with you and stuff. I don't know. So yeah. I might do that.

Stay classy and don't forget that you are awesome. Yeah that was kinda lame. My bad.

Quick Update

Hello there everyone! I realize I haven't posted anything in two weeks. I apologize for that but college started. Two weeks ago I was moving into the dorm and then last week was labor day and I just didn't feel like posting anything. Sorry.

Anyway I shall try to continue to post weekly but if I miss a week please don't kill me. I think I'm going to move my normal posting days to Saturday because I tend to end up waiting on people to wake up so that we can go get breakfast together. So posts on Saturdays not Fridays!

There will be an actual post about college coming too. I will probably post it next week since I will have experienced everything I'm going to be doing by then. If something new is added I will let you know!

Stay classy and don't forget to enjoy the adventure of life! You never know what is going to happen so take it one day at a time! Look for a post tomorrow!

In the Future: Fangirling, College Observations, and of course the history of Nail Polish (goodness when am I actually going to talk about these things?!)

Cat Ate Tissue

So this is going to be a rather random post. I have all these short stories and stuff that I think you might enjoy (I don't know maybe you won't). One of stories isn't really a story its more of a "this bothers me" which I guess happens a lot...

Story #1
I don't know if you know this or not but I have two cats. One day my cats were very hyper (this isn't that uncommon for them). I knew this because I could hear them running around upstairs. Eventually I decided I needed to go upstairs to my room, so up the stairs I went. As I stepped onto the very top of the stairs and into the hallway my cat comes running out of the room right next to the stairs and runs right into my leg. I almost fell over! My poor cat seemed dazed at first and then ran into the other room again.

Story #2
I ate a cricket! Okay...it wasn't a plain old cricket it was a chocolate covered cricket. It wasn't that large either, it was less than an inch. Basically it was a little cricket stuck in the middle of a block of chocolate. Why did I eat a cricket? It was for my AP Psychology class! I can't really remember what the point of it was. Probably something to do with culture and the norms of each country or something along that line.

Before I actually ate it you had to get the courage to actually eat it. I know what you're thinking. "How long could that take just put the cricket in your mouth and eat it! I doubt you could even see the cricket!" Well the problem was that a dude next to me had a cricket whose leg was sticking out of the chocolate. So that was a little disturbing. I hadn't (is that a word? It seems so strange...) opened my cricket yet so I was hoping that I would have that same problem. Well when I opened it the first thing I saw was a cricket staring at me. I'm not afraid of crickets or bugs but seeing it staring at me startled me and caused me to drop the cricket. There was a huge crack in my chocolate so you could see the entire body of the cricket. Rather unsettling. Then of course everybody else around the room ate there's so I ate mine and it just tasted like cheap chocolate. It wasn't that crunch, there was a slight crunch but nothing that is terribly unsettling. I was going to take a picture of the chocolate covered cricket but then I couldn't because it startled me.

This is the pin I got. It's rather large...
The whole thing came in this nifty little package along with a pin! So I now have a pin that says "I Ate A Bug Club!" That happened. Anyway, I looked at the package and it had the ingredients on it. I tried to take a picture but you couldn't read them so I will just list them for you now.
  • Milk Chocolate
  • Salt
  • Vanillin
  • Many Other ingredients I'm too lazy to type out
  • One Oven-Roasted Cricket
Not only did I eat a cricket, I ate an oven-roasted cricket! That must mean I was healthier than those people that eat just a plain old raw cricket right? You know...like almonds. I just find it funny that they put that there was a cricket in it in the instructions (because for some reason I didn't know that was going to be there) and the fact that it was oven-roasted. I wonder if that's why it wasn't very crunchy...

Story #3
When you go to blow your nose you normally grab a tissue. Well, at least I hope you do instead of just using your sleeve. Recently I opened a new box of tissues. You know how a tissue is really two thin pieces stuck together? Well now there is three pieces stuck together. At first I thought I just magically pulled out another one that first time. Nope. They are all like that. It really bugs me because now the tissue is super thick. I don't know if that's good or not but its throwing me off.

Well that's it for this week. Thanks for reading. Sorry if it was lame or weird or whatever other complaints you might have. Stay classy and don't be afraid to try something new you never know what you can learn from it!

P.S. The poll is going for another two weeks! You should vote before time runs out!

Catching Up

I'm back!! Did you think I had gone forever and would never come back? Well never fear I am back and ready to rant! Hurray for rants! Oh wait! Before I do that...have you forgotten who I am? Well I'm not really going to say who I am but I will catch you up on what has been happening in my life (even if you don't really care).

Let's see the last post is Fun Facts About Life (Part 2) which means school must have just started. Oh yes, that's why I have been neglecting this blog. Well let's get started then shall we?

School started and took over my life. How? Well with all the homework the teachers have given me and the clubs I decided to join. The classes are actually classes that you have to think in (unlike some of the classes people I know are taking so they are just cruising there way through school all happy with no homework). There are a couple of AP classes in there (I'm still not sure if that was a good idea on my part) and then government. Oh government. Government as you can probably guess is about politics and the US constitution and all sorts of that good stuff that I am clueless on and really don't care that much about (probably not good considering I live in the US...oh well). So I have been struggling a lot more than normal to keep my grades up in government and the AP classes which is rather frustrating and annoying. Oh! I almost forgot about zoology. We have very little grades in that class and we turned in this journal of our labs and what not and he graded it. Well the teacher is a lot more picky than it would seem. For example, he took points off on me for not coloring I drew in my notes while we were dissecting it. Normally I wouldn't care that much but the jellyfish was clear. CLEAR! How the heck am I supposed to color something that is clear? Sigh silly teacher.

Continuing with sill teachers...teachers are mean. They say, and I quote, "Make this the best year you can!" So I think to myself okay cool I will try to go to every event and just have a great time. But then the teacher follows up with: "Here's your homework." *falls off of chair* Seriously? I can't do everything if you keep giving me a ton of homework! Ugh.

As for the clubs well I am currently in Culinary Club, Anime Club, and National Honor Society, and Drama (kinda sorta...I will elaborate in a bit don't you worry). I helped my friend last year make an Anime Club and it's really pretty cool. They people are very interesting and have a lot of character that makes it fun to get to know them. In the club we really just watch animes so overall it's a good time. I helped some of my friends make a culinary club this year too. That's also a good club because you make good food and I really like food. I don't understand why anybody wouldn't want to join that club because it's food. Who doesn't like food?! National Honor Society is really easy there's only one meeting a month and that just tells you about volunteer opportunities. It's good for me that I sing at my church and get all my hours there so I don't really have to worry about that one very much. And then there is drama club. Okay. So I have gone to a meeting and helped with the set (for like an hour). I was going to do more but before I actually started going to meetings (well...a meeting) I was busy. I can't remember with what, probably school, but I was busy. Then I was going to help with the set (because I can't act so I'm going to help build the set) after school for a week!...but then I got sick...Oops. So Drama is the one that I really need to start doing more, don't worry, I am working on that.

Then there's work (there is a more detailed post about this I just haven't finished it yet...sorry). I close on Friday's and work in the middle of the day on Saturday. That is (was) my main homework doing time. Now I do like an hour of homework here and there...it's such a struggle. Then on Sunday I have church (which is good and am never going to stop going to) and youth group...so that means I have very little time on Sunday to do homework. (I think this paragraph was supposed to be about work and not be complaining about not having time to do homework...oh well).

Oh yeah, did I mention that I missed a week of school because I was sick? I didn't? Well I missed a week of school because I was sick. Luckily I didn't really miss anything and stayed on top of it while I was home (I also watched the Lorax =) it was fun...I really just said that so the smiley didn't have a double chin).

Now I am on fall break! Hurray! I have no idea what I'm going to do but maybe I will be able to post stuff and rants. We'll see what happens.

Well that's been my life for the last month or so. I probably forgot something but that's just how it goes. I was going to rant about some stuff or share stuff I have discovered throughout but well this post is already rather long so there you go.

P.S. Do you like the design? Yes, I like the holidays I might even post about them so there is your teaser to come back again...I don't know.

Well Hello There

Well hello there! This is my blog, obviously. Now then if I know you, hello, if not, welcome person I don't know I hope you enjoy yourself. This post is going to explain why I made this blog and who I am. So let's get started:

Name: Steve
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Relationship status: Divorced twice, currently dating
Pets: A parrot
Hobbies/Activities: I collect leaves/I surf
Political views: Republican
Religious views: Wiccan
Where do I live: Australia
Reason for making this blog: I want to become famous
Can I write: I think so

Just kidding! That's not really who I am, it just goes to show how easy it is to lie on the internet (I probably shouldn't be saying that...oh well). Any way lets get down to who I really am:

Name: You can call me Scooby
Genger: I is a female
Age: um...I'll just say between 16 and 20
Relationship status: As single as one can get...I will probably end up being the crazy old lady with too many cats, but that's a story for another day.
Pets: 2 cats
Hobbies/Activities: I make friendship bracelets and I read/I play volleyball
Political views: Who cares?
Religious views: Christian. I'm not going to say I'm Catholic or I'm Lutheran because honestly, I don't think it really matters. I believe in God and that He sent his son to die on the cross to save us (that's kinda the shorter version but there you go).
Where do I live: America
Reason for making this blog: To rant about things that annoy me. To be able to vent with out people asking me questions and so I actually get it out and feel like someone might "hear" me. To make you laugh with my awkward moments and other nonsense like that.
Can I write: No, no I cannot (you've probably already noticed that). If you want a good read with proper grammar and what not I suggest you leave now if you haven't already.

Well there you go. That is me. I'll probably get around to making an "about me" section at some point and time but for now this is how you can get to know me. I think that's all you need to know about me. If I missed something...oh well I think you'll survive.

Wow. I really don't know how to end this. Maybe I should have a catch phrase or something? That way I can put it down and then you will know that the post is done. I have no idea what that could possibly be so for now good bye, have fun, and enjoy life.
